Kevin Goldberg is a retired New Jersey State Trooper, Crime Scene Investigations Detective, with over 25 years of law enforcement experience. He is currently a licensed Private Investigator (NJSP License #7146), fully Insured & Bonded. (N.J.S.P. Private Detective Unit, 609-882-2000).

While assigned to the C.S.I. Unit his responsibilities included the processing of various crime scenes, which included the following: Homicides, Aggravated Assaults, Robberies, Burglaries, Suicides, and photographic documentation of fatal motor vehicle accident scenes. Processing these crime scenes consisted of latent fingerprint detection, fingerprint comparison and identification, photography, and collection/preservation of evidence. During his assignment to this unit he has compared thousands of developed latent fingerprints to inked impressions, which has resulted in over 200 positive identifications.

Also during his State Police tenure he was detached to the F.B.I. World Trade Center Task Force from September 11, 2001 to August 27, 2002. He assisted with operations at ground zero and the processing of numerous crimes scenes such as motor vehicles, apartments, and hotel rooms utilized by known terrorist organizations. After this time period he was detached to the Newark Airport Detail as a uniformed Trooper, and held the position of terminal supervisor for Terminals A, B, and C.

During his State Police career he also received hundreds of letters of commendation, from the colonel of the New Jersey State Police. In the year 1996 he was nominated, and one of only a few selected officers, for Trooper of the Year.
